The 2018 L d’Ange comes from a single plot on clay‑limestone soil at 200 m altitude, planted with old vines around 50 years old. The shallow soil and proximity to bedrock make the terrain extremely difficult to work, resulting in low yields of around 40 hl/ha. Hand‑harvested and biodynamically farmed, the wine was aged for 48 months in barrel, giving it remarkable volume and complexity while maintaining freshness and precision. Aromas of delicate florals and riper stone fruit blend with mineral character — a vivid expression of terroir and Alexandre Bain’s commitment to harmony between vineyard and vintage.
