“Rùbeo” translates in Latin for ‘Ruby’ and represents not a local but one of the favorite grapes for Luca; the Cabernet Franc. This variety is planted throughout northern Italy since the 1700s.
Another stunning combination with Amarone blend, this time the appassimento impact on Cabernet Franc emphasis the notes of tobacco, peppercorn and earthy characteristic of the dried grape. Fresher touches of oregano, raspberry with a surprising drinkability. As the savory elements unfold, hints of smoked meat and spices are prevalent with noticeable tannins, structure, and length.
