‘Auksinis’ = golden. 60 year old vines of Sauvignon Blanc from a 1 ha plot on clay-limestone soil. This is Sébastien’s maceration cuvée. On this special cuvée the Sauvignon Blanc grapes from the Auksinis cuvées have undergone an extended 12 months of open-top maceration in old wood before similar fermentation and aging.
