Jean-Christophe Comor crafts wines with minimal intervention, letting the grapes speak through native yeasts and gentle vinification. For his Bandol rosé, started in 2015, he collaborates with a neighboring winery because Bandol regulations require vinification within the AOC boundaries to qualify for the appellation. This approach allows his Bandol rosé to be more precise, aromatic, and terroir-driven than many commercial offerings. The wines are fermented and aged in carefully selected vessels, with no additives or unnecessary manipulations, preserving purity and expression. Each cuvée is treated almost like a single-barrel production, capturing the individuality of the plot and vintage.
